Alamogordo and Holloman Air Force Base Receive 2025 Altus Trophy for Outstanding Military-Community Partnership

The City of Alamogordo and Holloman Air Force Base were recently honored with the 2025 Altus Trophy, recognizing their outstanding partnership and commitment to supporting military families, mission readiness, and community connection. Awarded by Air Education and Training Command (AETC), the Altus Trophy highlights communities that go above and beyond in areas like housing, education, volunteerism, and quality of life.

We are especially proud to see the local Five & Thrive initiative recognized as part of this achievement through the Alamogordo Thrive Guide, led by Danielle Rondelez. The guide serves as a tailored resource connecting military families with trusted local support in childcare, education, healthcare, housing, spouse employment, and community integration.
