You may be eligible to receive up to five years of Teachers’ Retirement System (TRS) or Public Employees' Retirement System (PERS) credit for your active military service in the U.S. Armed Forces. Surviving spouses of members who had served in the armed forces, may also be eligible to receive this credit.
