TRICARE offers several different health plans. Plan availabilty depends on who you are and where you live.
The TRICARE Dental Program (TDP) is a voluntary dental plan. Sponsors can enroll through the Beneficiary Web Enrollment website.
Vision coverage may include an eye exam or other services to diagnose or treat the medical condition of the eye. Eye exam coverage is different based on who you are, your health plan option, and your age. In some cases, you may need a referral and/or prior authorization.
The TRICARE Pharmacy Program provides the prescription drugs you need, when you need them, in a safe, easy, and affordable way.
The US Family Health Plan is a contracted TRICARE program under which the TRICARE Prime benefit is offered to eligible military beneficiaries. The US Family Health Plan requires beneficiaries to enroll and is offered through six participating non-profit plans in different regions of the country.
BENEFEDS is the government-authorized and U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM)-sponsored enrollment portal that eligible participants use to enroll in the Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program (FEDVIP).
